What is the difference between these definitions? (Part 1)

 

  • habit
  • is a routine of behavior that is repeated regularly and tends to occur subconsciously
  • custom
    The long-established tradition of an entire society. Example: Kissing a friend’s cheek is a French custom, but not done in Saudi Arabia.
  • practice
    Similar to “habit”, but normally positive, often with an undertone of professionalism or praising an effort.
  • Pattern
  • a recurrent way of acting by an individual or group toward a given object or in a given situation.
  • Thankful, Grateful and Blessed!
