Friends come and go, at first it can hurt and we take it personally, assuming of course, we are not lovable or that other person is crazy to not want you in their life. Shame, fear, and insecurities can rear their ugly head in our minds.
I have had many “friends” come into my life as quickly as they left, others have stayed longer periods of time, but eventually also move on, few have stayed the course no matter the twists and turns. I think I have found the answer to this conundrum, I believe not everyone is intended to be in our life forever, but only for a moment or a season. When their reason for entering your life is complete, they and you must move on to other lessons and people who will show and teach us what we need at the time we need it, and are ready for it.
It is not personal in the sense that something is wrong with either of you, but that the relationship has run it’s course. The lesson is completed!
Thankful, Grateful & Blessed!
