I severed my tendon in one my left thumb, on 11/11. I had surgery on 11/15. Today as I laid down at the surgeons office (because I pass out with all this kind of stuff) waiting for the PA (Physician Assistant) to remove my stitches and send me on my way, instead she had my surgeon come in to reprimand me about not taking my healing seriously, honestly I was overzealous feeling great and wanting so badly to be able to go back to normal.
Once I realized the severity, I relinquish the need to rush my healing process, I let go and let god!
Letting go is easier said than done, but doable. One step at a time, one day at a time.
Thankful, Grateful & Blessed!
