The silent child

7

As soon as I heard this title on the Oscars, ( it won an academy) I thought of myself, and how this had been me, in a way.

It was me and continues to be me, in regards to standing up for myself, defending myself and protecting myself.

People who think they know me, would never believe I would be silent, a victim of abuse, and paralyzingly fearful. These are not words or descriptions that most would use to describe me, or at least I don’t think so.

The reality is that these words do describe me. I am working on them being a description of a person I left behind.

I pray that my angels help me, let the real me come out to shine!

Thankful, Grateful & Blessed!
