Seattle slips and slides through unusually heavy snowfall CNN, Mon February 4, 2019

Headline from yesterday:

“One of the biggest snowstorms in years walloped Seattle on Monday, shutting down schools and businesses, delaying airline fights, and tying up traffic on major highways.”

This was my first snow in Seattle, I absolutely loved it, I watched it from the comfort of my sofa, as I watched TV. I was lucky not to be one of the people affected by outages.

More than 12,000 people were without power in Washington state due to snow-related outages.
Puget Sound Energy, the state’s largest utility company, said Monday that 167 outages remained in its service area, affecting 6,696 customers. Meanwhile, Seattle’s utility company, Seattle Light, said its crews had restored power to more than 4,000 people.
The company warned about outages continuing, because there were 33 in its service area, impacting about 6,000 people.

I did enjoy a day off from work, as they kept my office closed and had limited working hours on Tuesday and late arrival times on Wednesday as well.

We are expecting another snow storm coming on Friday and Saturday. we shall see how this one goes.

I am a  happy camper for now. I will keep you posted for updates.

Thankful, Grateful & Blessed!
