I have seen these places pop out all around, I was curious about this new popular, “floating” activity.
I kept on seeing “Groupon” with deals all around town. So I decided to give it a try, if I don’t like it, I can always say I gave it a shot.
I was lucky to have bought the deal for a location right next to my gym, the gym I have been meaning to go to since I moved to the area, 6 months ago.
The day I scheduled my float session, I made a plan to hit two birds with one stone, and finally made it to the gym then to float.
The float was relaxing and calming. When it was done about 60 minutes, I found it difficult to want to get up and exit it. I was that relaxed that my limbs were heavy.
I didn’t notice any noticeable benefit, other than the availability to meditate for an extended amount of time, in peace and quiet. In the end I am glad I went, and look forward to doing it again some day.
