Cilantro
You should love it because…
Though it is but a simple herb, it packs a powerful nutritional punch. A little cilantro can go a long way when it comes to giving you a dose of immune-boosting antioxidants, boosting your heart health, and even fending off anxiety.
I personally LOVE this herb. I grew up eating it, in many dishes, since I am Mexican, you can imagine how much cilantro I have eaten, and I like extra!
It is hard for me to believe some people don’t like cilantro and actually have a Facebook page, joining forces.
I googled it, and the sentences below is what I found… I wonder if I have a genetic variation to dislike, fish and eggs, since I feel that way about these foods, among others….
“Some of this dislike may come down to simple preference, but for those cilantro-haters for whom the plant tastes like soap, the issue is genetic. These people have a variation in a group of olfactory-receptor genes that allows them to strongly perceive the soapy-flavored aldehydes in cilantro leaves.”
I love it, if you don’t that is o.k. too, more for me!
Thankful, Grateful & Blessed!
